A man who seemed to be disguised in a ladies’ wig jumped up from a wheelchair to throw cake at the Mona Lisa in the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday. Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece was protected by glass, and unharmed. Videos show a long line of museum visitors in the gallery filming the stunt, which was apparently meant as a climate protest. Video shows a museum staff member wiping the cream from the painting’s protective cover. Another clip shows security escorting the man out of the museum as he shouts to onlookers in French, Think of the Earth. Artists tell you, think of the Earth.
